Voluntary Sector Forum

Representation

Representatives are elected by the Voluntary Sector Forum members for a three year term to sit on key meetings at county and area Level. After each meeting the reps are asked to complete reports which include actions for the sector. This will be circulated to the Sector Forum members.

Anyone working or volunteering for an organisation that is a member of the Forum can stand for election as a representative. There are responsibilities to being a representative of the Sector Forum.

There are a number of sub-groups that sit under the Forum. Some of these link to multi-sector groups within Norfolk, and an elected representative takes feedback between the two groups. Some are stand-alone groups that offer support to a particular group of people working in the Voluntary Sector, deal with specific interests, or cover a specific geographical area.
