The Breaking Barriers project is part of the Unite Programme which works with prisoners and their families to minimise the impact of imprisonment on their children. Ormiston Families services support family relationships to continue developing throughout the sentence, which plays a critical role in helping to reduce reoffending rates.
Breaking Barriers supports children and young people who have a close family member in prison – helping them to understand their situation and to manage their own feelings.
You will be supporting children and young people across Norfolk, and building the capacity of schools and other professionals to recognise and support these children.

Ormiston Families is committed to safeguarding. We are an equal opportunities employer; we value diversity and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
