Youth Workers

MAPHours: 37 (permanent or fixed term)

Location: Great Yarmouth

Salary: £22,422 pa

MAP is a charity providing free and independent advice, counselling, youth work and education for young people.

MAP are looking for two full time Youth Workers (one permanent and one fixed term for one year) to work, as part of a highly motivated team, on projects and positive activities in Great Yarmouth. The successful candidate will have significant experience of working with young people, have the capability to work one to one and in groups with young people, and will ideally hold a JNC recognised qualification in youth work.

Some travel will be required for this post so a full driving licence and access to transport is desirable. Occasional flexibility around hours will be required to meet the needs of the service. Appointments will be made subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
