Assistant Director of Operations - Housing & Homelessness Services

The Benjamin FoundationHours: 37.25 per week. Weekend/evening work may occasionally be required

Location: Working across Norfolk and Suffolk

Contract: Permanent, full time

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum plus Essential Car User’s Allowance

Founded in 1994, The Benjamin Foundation gives local people hope, opportunity, stability and independence. We want to end youth homelessness. Each year, through our accommodation centres, supported lodgings service and support to those with tenancies, we provide over 40,000 safe nights accommodation for vulnerable young adults aged 16 – 25. 

The Assistant Director will work with the director providing leadership and strategic direction to improve performance, procure resources and secure full compliance for the Housing & Homelessness services, building effective working relationships with directors, specialists, senior managers and external agencies. They will direct and control budgets for services, develop staff and line manage service managers. They will be the point of call for operational challenges, complaints and issues in services.
