HR Manager

MAPHours: 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE)

Location: Norwich, with a county-wide remit

Salary: £30,368 – £32,441 (pro rata £15,184 – £16,220)

MAP has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to strategically lead the HR function and a small motivated team, supporting a diverse and values based organisation. The HR Manager will work closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) in order to develop and deliver MAP’s strategic plan. This role is available on a flexible basis, with the hours per week to be agreed between the successful individual and MAP.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of HR management, supporting and coaching others, advising a Board of Directors and Chief Executive in a similar environment, a relevant qualification and sound knowledge of employment law and other legislation.

The role will include:

  • Internal policy and procedure development
  • Development of the MAP People Strategy
  • Development of training programmes
  • Lead on relevant budgets
  • To oversee and lead on HR practices, processes, administration and team members
