Property Coordinator

YMCA NorfolkHours: 37.5 Hours per week

Location: Norwich My Place

Salary: £8.66 per hour 

Contract: Permanent

The Role:

The Property Coordinator will undertake the effective operational delivery of housing management functions to tenants to agreed standards, towards YMCA Norfolk’s mission of ‘transforming young lives’. They will ensure the provision of a safe and secure environment through management of Health and Safety in the housing service.

The Property Coordinator will be required to:

  • Ensure collection of rental income
  • Undertake tenancy signs ups and inductions into the service
  • Undertake Health and Safety checks for the service.
  • Provide front of house cover during office opening times.
  • Undertake pre and post void inspections

What you’ll need to succeed:

The Property Coordinator will need knowledge of Intensive Housing Management activities including rent collection and tenancies. They will be able to manage difficult situations and solve problems. The Property Coordinator must be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills including empathy, genuineness and willingness to listen and respect other views. We would like candidates to have experience of working within a housing or support setting working with vulnerable young people or adults. Candidates also need to be willing to work unsocial hours including early and late shifts.
