Volunteer Drop-In Youth Worker

MAP2Hours: Between five to ten hours per week: 13:00 – 18:00 either one or two days a week

Location: Norwich

Type of role: Voluntary, no pay is associated with this role. Expenses are payable for travel, accommodation, etc.

We’re looking for a volunteer to join us in our advice drop-ins in a youth work capacity, to help support and build relationships with vulnerable young people who use MAP’s services. You will be embedded within a team of advice and case workers. This will involve working closely with young people coming to our advice drop-in, providing one-to-one support to encourage independence and development, and signpost  to other services in the wider community where it would help. You’ll ideally have experience of youth work and developing positive activities with young people. We’re looking for great communicators who can build trust and relationships well with a wide range of individuals.
