CSA Two-day Conference

NSCB New LogoIf you are a professional working with people then it is likely that you will be working with clients affected by sexual abuse. This conference is aimed at professionals who are not specialists in this area, and is designed to give you the confidence, knowledge and skills you need to respond appropriately when the issue crops up in your everyday work. The conference will include a number of speakers who are expert in their field.

Course Duration: Two days

Learning Outcomes – The conference aims to:

  • Raise awareness of the prevalence, context and complexity of child sexual abuse and the impact on the children and adults who have experienced such abuse.
  • Give professionals the tools and skills to respond to disclosures and manage concerns.

Day One will focus on the signs and symptoms of child sexual abuse, the impact on children and how we respond to it.

Day Two will focus on understanding the impact of childhood sexual abuse on adults and developing an appropriate professional response.

Location: Dunston Hall Hotel, Norwich

Admissions: The conference will cost £75 for one day’s attendance or £100 for both days. Voluntary sector organisations will be charged £37.50 for one day’s attendance or £50 for both days.
