This course maps to the DOH framework for a ‘Positive and Proactive Workforce’;It identifies and defines ‘restrictive practices’ including discussion and group work looking at strategies and interventions to reduce the use of restrictive practices in health and social care services.
This course aims to assist your organisation to comply with the Health and Social Care Act, regulated activity 12, ‘Safe Care and Treatment’, CQC monitors and inspects against the guidance ‘Positive and Proactive Care’ reducing the need for restrictive intervention.
