Our March Good Practice meetings will be looking at the Prevent strategy and what it means for young group or organisation. We will be joined by a guest speaker to run a short workshop about Prevent and answer any questions you might have.
Prevent is a national government counter-terrorism strategy and aims to prevent people from joining extremist organisations, including some political and faith-based groups. Understanding Prevent strategy forms a key part of safeguearding young people who can be vulnerable to appraches from extremist groups.
