This accredited course, delivered over two days, will equip learners with the tools and knowledge on how to support a young person who is experiencing poor mental health. The course will benefit those working with young people on a regular basis.
The course content includes; anxiety, depressions, suicide, psychosis, eating disorders, self-harm. Each area explores how to can assist a young person with their mental health journey and supporting them to find appropriate methods to improve their mental health further.
Learn about mental health in more depth, particularly those listed previously. It will equip learners with the tools to assist a young person who presents with poor mental health, how to help them on a first aid basis and information about local and national agencies who can help further.
The course is over a 2day period (19 & 26 September) in Bowthorpe, both days are 9:30am-4:30pm. It is £130+VAT per person. Parking around the site is all residential and free. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
