Broadland YAB

The Broadland Youth Advisory Board is a body of young people and professionals that meet on a bi-monthly basis. The aim of the YAB is to identify issues that impact on young people and to play a strategic role in meeting these needs.

Broadland YAB Tenders

Following our annual youth consultation, with over 2,500 responses from young people across Broadland, Young Commissioners have decided to assign up to

  • £29,500 to commission a project targeting the identified issue of ‘Mental health and Wellbeing’. This project aims to demonstrate what good mental health looks like, provide skills for how to maintain good mental health and increase resilience for young people across Broadland.
  • £20,000 to commission a project targeting the issue of ‘a lack of activities and things to do’. This project aims to improve and increase opportunities and activities for young people aged 11-19 across the district.

See the tender specifications and application forms below for more detail.

The closing date for applications is by 12 noon on 4th Sept 2019. Any applications received after this date will not be considered.
