Youth Work Training

Momentum is keen to support the next generation of youth workers. As part of our Youth Worker development programme, we have a progression of courses which will help you to gain the skills and knowledge that you need when working with young people. The first stage of this programme is attendance at our short courses 'Introduction to Working with Young People' and 'Introduction to Youth Participation' and the final step is the Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work PracticeOur NOCN courses are subsidised in order to make them affordable for you.

Introduction to Youth Work

Introduction to Youth Participation

This short course will give participants an excellent understanding of the key principles of youth participation and co-production methodology. The course will provide practical ideas on how to develop genuine youth participation processes. Genuine youth participation has an exceptionally powerful impact on the impact of youth organisations and the future shape of the sector.

Level 2 Award in Youth Work Principles (RQF 603/5507/4)

This NOCN Level 2 Youth Work Award is an accredited course.

Learners may already be working in a youth work setting but this is not an essential requirement.

The Level 2 qualification prepares the learner to assist in work with young people in a variety of youth work settings.
