This training provides participants with an understanding of the skills, knowledge and qualities required to practice as a youth support worker. It leads to a nationally recognised award in youth work and can be used toward completion of the Level 3 Certificate / Diploma in Youth Work Practice.
Ideally learners will have accessed prior learning opportunities such as “Introduction to Working with Young People”. Participants must be aged 16 + and have the opportunity to undertake regular ‘face to face’ delivery with young people—this can be voluntary or paid, in person or via technology. The course will be delivered via online group sessions.
Deadline for applications is Wednesday 15 December.
Location: Online via Zoom
Course Cost: £700 for VCSE sector, £840 for non-VCSE sector
